Forest of rain and mist on the western side of The Spine, in Cirda.
Geography and climate
The forest covers the northwest of Cirda, between the ocean coast and the foothills of The Spine. It rains almost all year, and the mist stays tangled among the trees until late in the day. Pines and tall oaks abound, with ferns and moss on the ground. To the south, the forest thins into wet meadows that run down to the Almiar Marshes.
Its timber goes down the Almiar River to Marena. In a clearing on the foothills stands the Orvalla Monastery.
